Tank is a bit of a mess but mind is clear… Am I back in the “real world” now, or have I just returned from a visit to it? … no question… Whether the remote cold tundra, open savanna, or some meters under on an atoll, pulling away every now and then, zero contact, is a great reminder that life, as Mother Nature intended, could certainly do without us. Out there is the real world. Sometimes I think me sitting here, surrounded by technology, is not.
As I get back on track, please enjoy a few random vacation photos I took in Botswana & Zimbabwe. AnotherĀ 5,000 or so to sort through (gotta love digital), but these are a few of my favorites that I’ve sorted thus far. Click any photo to expand & enjoy!

Hey L,
Welcome back….amazing photos, you’ve got a good eye. The detail in the Vervet Monkey shot is incredible.

Hi guys – thanks! Have to head over to the glass box and see what I missed. Was a great time. Already planning the next trip back… hoping to include Rwanda / Congo areas to see the mountain gorillas next time, as well as a stop in Mozambique to do a little diving.
Few more photos added. Enjoy!

Wonderful!!!
I love photos too… in my recent journey on red sea I did 1300 photo underwater and 1200 overwater
And only one week… I’m just choosing the best!
Is it possible to see many other photos? And what camera do you have? And what lenses?
Thanks
Danilo

Hey Dani, I’d love to dive the Red Sea. You’re lucky it’s not such a far flight from Italy! Would try and make it a yearly trip if I lived closer.
Have a ton more photos but they’re not up yet, I will be sure and post a link when it is ready.
I used Nikon d80 and for lenses 18-200mm & 70-300mm Nikkors and Sigma 10-20 wide angle (which I love).
Looking forward to your Red Sea pics…
