My reasoning for never buying them is a) Chicago coach house - no basement, no garage, limited storage, and, b) my wife hates seeing 'fish crap everywhere' - a category which salty gloves hanging out to dry would definitely fall under. Also, the thickness of the coralife's make them seem, as you mentioned, a bit clumsy. These disposables are thin, so you can feel what you're doing a little better than through rubber i'd imagine - there is a little clumsy factor, sure, but not too bad. Most of the time, I do stick my bare hands in the tank after a nice rinse in hot water. But when no time for that, these are the ticket. I own the Coralife Shoulder-Length Aqua Gloves but I'm only 5'7" and they're really to big for me. They work for target feeding and some miscellaneous stuff but for handling frags they're a bit clumsy. Water pressure tightens the gloves but they're still a bit too big.
