Thanks for the link Danilo! I had not seen that. Fortunately I can read enough Italian that it's easier than the Babelfish english translations :).

I am not at all surprised about the PO4 or NO3 readings on Salifert kits compared to Elos. I currently use DD Merck for PO4, but used to use Salifert, and the Salifert always shows ZERO PO4. It just doesn't register low values I think.

As far as the NO3 - very interesting, because I only have a Salifert, and it always shows 0 NO3. I think I'll pick up an Elos on my next order...! Wonder what my NO3 really is?!?!?!?!

The Tropic Marin seem to be pretty good too, no? I've never used one, but by the results from the link, they seem to read in line with the Elos (which I do trust and think are great kits), albeit not as consistent as Elos.

I think AWT is a good service, but would never rely on any of the results without having the same kit at home. My K+ readings were of a little concern. They seem to report to many people that K is low. But on my Fauna Marin Kalium test kit, potassium levels are a bit over NSW in the tank (and I do dose K), and my K levels in freshly mixed salt are over 350 (AWT told me it was under 300...).... so for sure, cum grano salis.

Thanks for the links!

Hi, have you seen this post? http://www.mbenassireef.com/?cat=17

English is "altavista" english, but I think readable :-)

I have done some comparative between Elos and Salifert, but only this is in english... (please scroll down) http://www.danireef.com/2007/11/17/test-per-acquario-viii-aquarius-tests-kit-viii/

I would like to have AquariumWaterTesting.com also in italy

See you

We loaded the back - gave the weight longer travel time on the down slope, then inertia would take over when it hit the flat run. That, coupled with molybdenum on the wheels.... - f'in smoked 'em lol. Wanna race?

I wonder if our medals are going to be revoked now that we've come clean...?!
