It’s been a while since I’ve checked water parameters, aside from kH. Tank is totally being overfed (2x / day, heavily) since the new clowns went in. I want to be sure they’re eating and fat. Without having tested, I’ll venture to guess phosphates are over 0.14 and NO3 may be high. I plan on doing a water change tomorrow, just waiting for new Reef Crystals mix to aerate. So, coral show some color, but mainly brown, and I woke up to a clown stuck in the overflow this morning.
On the plus side, since I started Prodibio, I have near ZERO nuisance algae. I say near zero because a strand (as in, single strand) of bryopsis may pop up on a frag plug from time to time. But compared to the patches I had before, night and day. Chaeto is still growing, pretty quickly, I might add, but I may be helping to ‘counteract’ any effect of prodibio bacs with the outlandish amounts of food I’m tossing in. Too bad. My clowns need to eat.
